QCI brings more than 30 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of providing on-site Contract Administration and Inspection services to public works improvements projects. Today, QCI manages and maintains annual service contracts for on-site construction inspection in over 30 cities, 6 counties, and with over 20 professional consulting A & E firms. Servicing a variety of architectural and engineering public works improvements, on average, we provide professional on-site staffing for over 400 projects varying in size and complexity. Additionally, QCI is a pre-qualified construction management firm with the Ohio Department of Transportation, maintains ODOT pre-qualified staffing, successfully completed 5 construction inspection contracts as the prime consultant and 96 Local Public Agency (LPA) projects.

QCI maintains staff with backgrounds in site/civil, underground utility, transportation and architectural construction inspection. People

The QCI Group™ maintains a diverse staff of construction professionals who bring decades of experience in civil engineering and architectural construction. As a company that strictly provides construction support services, we have a diverse classification of employees to meet the needs of most any construction project.

Approximately 70% of our workforce is comprised of field inspection staff referred to as Resident Project Representatives (RPR). The RPRs are QCI’s primary corporate resources and are assigned to projects based on their individual level of experience in an effort to match the needs of a particular project. RPRs represent decades of construction experience and maintain a variety of professional certifications. They are engaged with ongoing training to ensure they stay abreast of updated practices within the field. In addition, several of QCI’s RPRs are licensed professional engineers.

Contract Administrators (CA) are the managers in the field for QCI Group™. The CAs manage the inspection staff and have the necessary resources and skills to assist clients with numerous cost-saving plans, techniques, and construction sequences. Nearly 60% of our CAs are licensed professional engineers. Several CAs have advanced degrees and are licensed in multiple states.

QCI maintains a team of experienced Resident Engineers (RE) with a variety of skill sets. The REs provide an additional resource to our clients and serve as subject-matter experts with the capability and knowledge to actively manage construction projects as an Owner’s Representative (OR) or Construction Project Engineer (CPE).
